Vannes is a fortified city located at the bottom of the Golfe du Morbihan, famous for its old town full of half-timbered houses and its cultural heritage. Picture is a townscape of Vannes showing the old fortified walls and their several towers, the Tour du Connetable (Constable's tower) and the Saint Peter cathedral, all classified as historic monuments.
