Boro supporters unhappy at losing three points. Middlesbrough were deducted points/docked three points and fined £50, 000 by the Premier League for failing to turn up for a fixture at Blackburn. Boro were plunged back into relegation fight after a five-hour hearing for which they hired top legal eagle George Carman QC to fight their corner.
