Jewish Groups Mark First Anniversary Of October 7th Attacks

Israelis for Peace and Jews for Racial and Economic Justice held vigils to mark the one year anniversary of October 7th attacks in Israel by Hamas and to remember the lives of Palestinians killed in the Israeli retaliation. The groups are calling for a permanent ceasefire deal that frees all the hostages and stops the bombings in Gaza. More than 1,200 people were killed and along with over 200 hostages taken on the October 7th attack by Hamas in Israel. The bombings in Gaza by Israel have killed over 40,000 people.
