Senator Shaheen critiques last-minute Republican strategy for Obamacare repeal

New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen says after the Republican leader decided to change strategy on legislating healthcare reform that the effort would take away health care from tens of thousands, terminate expansion of Medicaid that has assisted states across the country against the opioid crisis, in that according to the congressional budget office, the house bill expected before the Senate would take away coverage from 32 million Americans, urging against the misguided approach on the idea that by repealing health care at the time and delivering replacement in two years time does not pass the smell test because if there has been no replacement in seven years there is no reason to believe Republicans could produce a bill in two years with chaos in the insurance marketplace.
