SPEECH - $150M Expansion Of TAP Announced For Part-Times Students In New York

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – AUGUST 18: (SPEECH) (Part 3 of 3) New York Governor Kathy Hochul announces the expansion of $150 million Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) for part-time students on August 18, 2022 in New York City. The announcement was made at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) - part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system. Previously, the TAP program was only for students registered as full-time students. TAP will now provide approximately 75,000 additional students who are pursuing their degree part-time as an opportunity to ease the financial burden of obtaining an education.
