NORTHERN IRELAND: Politics: First Day of IRA Ceasefire/Prisoner Transfer; NORTHERN IRELAND, Belfast CMS Martin McGuinness (Sinn Fein) intvwd SOT -British govt is making a mountain out of a molehill over this business of the permanence of the ceasefire/ it will not be an obstacle to the peace process/ Sinn Fein should be involved in discussions with the British and Eire govts soon/ demilitarisation must now take place and a lifting of govt ban in next few weeks/ round table discussions must then take place to bring about a negotiated settlement/ RUC is totally unacceptable to us/ Army must be withdrawn/ many bodies including the international community and the White House are involved here and there are great forces at work for a negotiated settlement/ IRA has set the ball rolling and it is now up to the British Army and the Loyalist death squads to take the next step NOTE - Item out of sync
