The mastermind of an armed robbery that ended in a police officer being shot dead has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 40 years. Pc Sharon Beshenivsky’s family watched from court as the last member of the gang responsible for the armed raid that claimed her life was sentenced after almost 20 years.
